Learn proper blood draw technique through hands-on lab training covering multiple needle types while receiving in-depth workplace training pertaining to patient care, handling and processing of collected samples, appropriate safety standards, and the necessary patient advocacy skills required to thrive in your medical career.
DURATION: 6 WEEKS
Learn to administer an electrocardiogram to patients in a variety of styles while becoming familiar with the rhythmic electrical impulses made by the heart and proficient at recognizing emergencies that may occur. In depth training on the recording of physiological statistics including manual blood pressure.
CLASS DURATION: 5 WEEKS
An accelerated route to becoming a Medical Assistant offered to students who have completed both our Phlebotomy and EKG programs. Use the in-depth clinical practices learned in both prerequisite courses as tools to fuel your learning and understanding of all Medical Assistant duties both clinically and clerically in a fraction of the time.
CLASS DURATION: 6 WEEKS
Receive an American Heart Association BLS certification by joining us for thorough training on emergency response techniques covering adult, child, and infant specifications. Hands on learning of AED operation, rescue breathing, and choking protocol will leave you feeling prepared for when these emergency situations arise. Classes available to public for both first-timers and those looking to renew their certification.
